« Coup de foudre à la salle Olivier Messiaen de Radio France ! Talent indescriptible et charme rare de ces deux surs jumelles, complètement en osmose avec la musique, qui ont littéralement recréé toute l’élégance de cette uvre de Poulenc, parfaitement accompagnées par l’Orchestre National de France conduit par Charles Dutoit. »

« Isabelle and Florence Lafitte are consummated artists, musicians to the very end of their fingernails ! Their unity of thought and execution is virtually symbiotic. For their historic début in New York, it was a master stroke. »

« It’s a wonderfully ebullient mosaic of seemingly inexhaustible ideas for which twin sisters Isabelle and Florence Lafitte expertly provided the effervescent solo parts. These Gallic Gemini have been playing as the Duo Lafitte since early childhood and they know the Poulenc better than they know each other. »

During their tour in Taiwan, Isabelle and Florence Lafitte have been privileged to play together on the piano Marco Polo by Fazioli.
This is a special edition of the concert piano model F308.
It's entirely lacquered in red "chinese" high gloss polyester with the internal side of the lid painted.
The painting is an handmade copy of famous Canaletto's picture (Venice 1720) called "Il ritorno del Bucintoro il giorno dell'Ascensione."
For this special combination, Chinese red colour and Venice, it has been called "Marco Polo".
